Mathematica Packages for Atomic Physics
Here are some useful Mathematica links and hints
- Mathematica Journal
- path setup under Windows: add AppendTo[$Path, "c:\Lib\MyPacs"] to file c:\Program Files\Wolfram Research\Mathematica\4.1\Configuration\Kernel\init.m
- running Mmka from UNR library CITRIX server
- Extensive plotting help
- More links
Below is a collection of Mathematica functions developed by A. Derevianko. These packages deal with applications in Atomic Physics and Plasma Spectroscopy.
Atomic Physics
- Fundamental constants
- Wick: Package for symbolic manipulation of creation and annihilation operators in Fermi statistics.
- PostWick: Optimized version of the Wick package based on post-Wick theorems
- Nonrelativistic hydrogenic ions (Symbolic wavefunctions, energies, Hartree function Yl )
- Symbolic relativistic w.f. and energies for bound states of hydrogenic ions
- Angular stuff ( 9j-symbol, C-tensor, Wigner function)
- Hyperfine splitting pattern (I,J -> F) in terms of A, B, and C constants
Plasma Spectroscopy
- Holzmark distribution
- Parabolic and spherical states for hydrogenic ions. Dipole matrix elements. ``Doubled'' atom.
