Il Nome, a group of singers from the Nevada Opera Chorus who perform Renaissance madrigals

madrigalIl Nome, a madrigal group consisting of long-time members of the Nevada Opera Chorus, performs music in the Renaissance style for a variety of public and private occasions. Shown above in the "Green Show" before Mozart's Cosi fan tutte at Sand Harbor in 2006 are singers (back from left) Chris Nelson, Phil Boardman, Dorothy Devine, Bob Callaghan, Steve Murdock, and (front) Becky Earl, Joy Strotz, Debbie Cecere. They have sung at Great Basin Chautauqua, Prospector's Club (pictured right), Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, Boar's Head Feasts in Eureka and Virginia City, and several private occasions.
