Start Your WebCT Course
For students who are taking an online WebCT course from Dr. Leping Liu
This page is designed for students who are first time taking Dr. Leping Liu's online course delivered via WebCT. Please go through the following steps:
| Step One: | Activate your NetID: |
| 1. Follow the procedures at: https://www.net.unr.edu/apps/netid/activate.asp | |
| 2. Write down your NetID, and remember your password. | |
| Step Two: | Log onto the WebCT course: |

1. Go to: https://webct6.unr.edu/ , this will lead you to the WebCT course login page. |
| 2. Type in NetID and password, then click on OK. | |
| You will see the WebCT course(s) you registered for the current semester. | |
| 3. Click on the course link, you will see the course homepage. You can only | |
| see the course link that you have registered for. E.g., any of the following: | |
| CEP 610 Information Technology in Education | |
| CEP 412/612 Methods of Using Information Technology in Teaching and Learning | |
| CEP 413/613 Computer Telecommunications in Technology | |
| CEP 417/617 Field Work and Practicum in Information Technology | |
| CEP 605 Counseling and Information Technology | |
| CEP 620 Career Development and Information Technology | |
| 4. Click on the link of the course you registered for. | |
| Step Three: | Browse the Course: |
| 1. At the course homepage, click on the first icon labeled "Start Here" or "Announcement" | |
| 2. Click on the link "Message from the Instructor" and read it carefully. | |
| 3. Click on the link "Weekly Work Checklist" and read it carefully. | |
| I will put the weekly announcement and checklist here. Read carefully and follow the instructions !!!!! | |
| 4. Back to the course homepage. Click on the icon labeled "Syllabus" and print it out. | |
