Evaluation of Lecturing Performance
n Generally very good. However, the web of opposing views and possible alternative interpretations becomes overwhelming sometimes.
n excellent
n Enlightening and wide ranging.
n Very enthusiastic lecturer who is able to stimulate interest. Keeps the class going for 3 hours.
n Lots of tangents-on-tangents and some resistance to returning to mainstream discussion, especially teh required reading, or moving onto the next reading.
n overall it was fine. I rcommend that a video or field trip could be included in the curriculum.

Evaluation of Reading Materials
n Amount is fair, but I wonder if it was representative of teh field. For example, an anthology on soc/psych of cultural I suggested before start of semester was completely ignored and lots of we read was from Univ. of Michigan scholars.
n Focused on research, but could use some other sources of culture--pop, art, foreign press.
