Information Page The University of Nevada, Reno has agreed to serve as the sponsoring institution assisting Nevada State College at Henderson with the process needed to become a candidate for accreditation. President Stephen McFarlane has appointed a campus UNR Accreditation Committee for Nevada State College at Henderson. The members of the committee are Mary Spoon, Paul Neill, Diane Barone, Julie Johnson, Dave Westfall, Shannon Ellis, Steve Zink, Grant Stitt, Carol Ort, Jim Kidder, Melisa Choroszy and Pat Miltenberger. Pat Miltenberger has been appointed the Project Accreditation Officer with the responsibility of coordinating UNR's involvement in this process. On April 6, 2001 the Board of Regent's Task Forces on Academic and Student Affairs, Finance and Personnel, and Architecture will present their recommendations for the degree programs and services for the proposed college.
