Text: Calculus Concepts and Contexts, Single Variable, by James Stewart. We will cover chapters 2, 3, 4 and first half of chapter 5. Here is the tentative schedule.

Office hours: MTWR 8:10-8:50 am, 11:00-11:50am. If they are not convenient for you, feel free to make an appointment.

Grading Procedures: the cut-offs are A=90%, B=80%, C=65, D=55. The instructor reserves the right to assign +/- grades in borderline cases.
 
Quizzes -to be announced; the best 5 will count (10%). No make-up quizzes.
Homework -to be collected weekly on Thursday (10%). Late homework will not be accepted, but I will drop the lowest three. The homework assignments will be available at webassign.net
Tests:
Three of 16.66% each.  There will be no make-up tests. You can check the sample for the first test, the sample of the 2nd test, the sample of the 3rd test and also the sample of the final exam.
Final exam (comprehensive)(30%)- Friday May 8, 9:45-11:45am.
The tests and the quizzes will be similar to the homework problems.

Tutoring Free tutoring is available in the Math Center, AB 610.

Important date: Last Day to withdraw is March 13.

You are expected to attend all five class meetings of the week and arrive on time. You must bring your student ID card with you for all exams.
