Red Flags of an Abusive Relationship
1 He or She comes on as a real charmer and loves you instantly.
2 He or She has problems with authority
3 He or She embarrasses you in the presence of others
4 He or She is nasty on the road...feels others are competing with him.
5 He or She wants your undivided attention at all times.
6 You feel controlled by him. He or She always wants to be in charge
7 He or She has a dual personality...sometimes a child, sometimes an adult.
8 He or She is very competitive and He or She must always win
9 His promises and apologies are meaningless
10 He or She displays jealousy toward your close friends and family members
11 He or She can't tolerate criticism and is always defending himself
12 He or She has extreme highs and lows, both unpredictable
13 He or She is rough at times, "love pats" become more and more painful.
Suddenly you realize He or She is a serious abuser.
