Grading Procedures: A=87%, B=75%, C=60%, D=50%.   

Final exam (comprehensive) Monday Dec 15, 9:45-11:45 a.m. (30%)  

Midterms  Oct 10, Nov 21 (20% each). If the final is better than the lowest midterm, the final could count as 50%.

p.  218: 1 abe, 2 abc, 3 ac, 4, 9  due 09/12.

Many homework problems will involve doing proofs.
