About me

I received my PhD in Applied Mathematics at the Iowa State University under the direction of Prof. Scott Hansen.

I was a postdoctoral fellow from 2011 to 2013 in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo Canada under the direction of Prof. Kirsten Morris.

I am currently a departmental postdoc in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Nevada—Reno.

My current research focuses on the mathematical modeling of smart-material structures involving a piezoelectric layer, actuators and sensors, numerical analysis, and the investigation of the control-theoretic properties of these structures, i.e. controllability, observability and stabilizability.
