Wash bottles are supplied primarily for storing deionized water, for aid in filtration (washing of precipitate, etc.). If you decide to store any liquid other than water in your wash bottle, be sure to label the wash bottle clearly.

Note: wash bottles are fabricated of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) which is susceptible to attack from some chemicals, especially organic solvents like acetone and ether. For this reason, do not use your wash bottle to store or dispense acetone or ether!
