Hirsch funnels (pronounced "HERSH"), like Büchner funnels, are porcelain funnels used exclusively for vacuum filtration. The differences between the two are the shape (Hirsch funnels are conical) and the area of the filtering surface (the Hirsch funnel is much smaller).
