Behavior analysis for high performance organizations

 

Our lab group develops behavioral technologies to improve human performance in complex organizations. Research spans a wide range of topics from fairly molecular analyses of individual behaviors in well-controlled environments to large-scale analyses of organizational behaviors in complex systems.

 

A guiding principle is to develop viable behavioral technologies ready for transfer to users demanding tested solutions able to meet real world standards.

 

We pursue programmatic research to support high performance organizations. Lab members conduct their own research within this program, participate in grant activities, teach, serve consumers via practica, and are active members of the BA community. Thus a network of initiatives combine to support active participation in behavioral research, dissemination and technology development.

 

Technologies of interest include:

* instructional materials including interactive multi-media systems,

* incentive/reinforcement/feedback systems,

* data control technologies & decision-support tools,

* web-based communities & support networks.

 

 

Applications of interest include:

* occupational health and safety,

* entrepreneurial behaviors, 

* academic & job training,

* green behavior

* management/leadership, and

* sports & fitness.
