Jacqueline C. Snow Real Object Perception Laboratory

The Real Object Perception Lab

Bringing the 'Real World' to Cognitive Neuroscience

In our research we aim to understand how the human brain processes and represents real world objects - objects that one can reach out and touch, grasp, consume, or buy. We investigate how real objects are perceived in comparison to other types of displays that more commonly used in psychological research, including 2-dimensional computerized images and 'virtual' 3-dimensional objects. Welcome to the lab.
